3 USES OF SIMPLE FUTURE The future tense is used to tell what "will" happen, or what "shall" happen. Iré a la playa el mes que viene. I will go to the beach next month. Escribiré la carta la semana que viene. I shall write the letter next week. But, the future tense is not used to express a willingness to do something. For this, use the verb "querer.“ ¿Quieres ir a la tienda? Will you go to the store? The future tense is also used to express wonder or probability in the present state Quién será ella? I wonder who she is? (Who could she be?) Estará viajando solo. He is probably traveling alone.

6 Immediate future vs Simple Future
Immediate Future we use: Simple Future we use: When we describe actions that will occur in the near future When we want to express a willingness to do something Usually with these words and expresiones: hoy → today; ahora → now; mañana → tomorrow; más tarde → later; esta tarde → this afternoon; la semana que viene → next week; el mes que viene → next month; el año que viene → next year; esta noche → tonight; mañana por la mañana → tomorrow morning; mañana por la tarde → tomorrow afternoon; mañana por la noche → tomorrow night When we want to to tell what "will" happen, or what "shall" happen. We use it when we know the precise date, year, month, day. When we are talking about something unique, an event in the future.

Gerundio / Gerund Gerund - An impersonal verb form which is used as an adjective or adverb to express an action in progress. trabaj – ar/ er/ ir + ando / iendo trabaj-ando com-iendo viv-iendo

9 Uso del Gerundio I. It is used to refer to an action which is simultaneous with or prior to the action of the other verb in the sentence.  Caminando por la plaza, he visto a mi abuelo.  While walking in the plaza, I’ve seen my grandfather. Ha pasado todas sus vacaciones esperando una sorpresa. He’s spent his entire vacation waiting for a surprise. Aprendo mucho estudiando con ellos.  I learn a lot by studying with them.
