4 Correct Usage of Special Verbs: (A mí) Me duele la cabeza. –Literal: The head hurts/is hurting to me. –How we hear it: My head hurts.

5 Correct Usage of Special Verbs: (A ti) Te molestan los perros. –Literal: The dogs are bothering to you. –How we hear it: The dogs are bothering you.

6 Correct Usage of Special Verbs: A él le encanta el postre. –Literal: The dessert is enchanting to him! –How we hear it: He loves the dessert!

7 Special Verb Usage, cont. (A nosotros) Nos aburre la clase de arte. –Literal: The art class is boring to us. –How we hear it: Art class bores us.

10 Errores comunes…No los hagas! Yo encanto. NO EXISTE Me lo encanta. –Me lo encanta NO EXISTE “It” is built into “encanta” –Me encanta. It is pleasing to me. Se encanta. –“se” es un pronombre reflexivo. Significa “he loves himself” –“le” es un pronombre del objeto INDIRECTO.
