brazo piernas cabezas manos pies Thank you to TES contributor McSquarkle for this game idea. 3 x pupils hide under a large blanket. Teacher or another pupil calls out a body part (either manos / brazos / pies / piernas / cabezas / dedos) And the pupils have 5 x seconds to decide individually if to stick out one or two (not heads obviously!) of that body part. The rest of the pupils count up how many of the body part the monster has. For each group, a tally can be kept to show how many of each thing the monster has. If desired, the groups could then draw the monster that they have ‘physically’ designed under the blanket. Or, if preferred, they could design a completely new monster.

4 Mi monstruo tiene … Tell pupils they are going to draw their own monster / alien. They can either use the number of legs / arms / heads etc..from their blanket game OR they can design a new one. They need to give the number of parts of the body and use describing words too (grande, pequeños, colours etc..) If appropriate they should also say what their monster does not have. The pupils may need the word ‘horn’ in addition to their other vocabulary el cuerno = horn possibly also antenna if they want to do more of an alien monster la antena
