2 Pecado - Sin Introducción A. La palabra “pecado” (o sinónimos) se encuentran repetidas veces en la Biblia. Introduction A. The word “sin” (or synonyms) are found repeatedly in the Bible.

3 Pecado - Sin B. Al hablar del “Plan de salvación” estamos hablando de cómo ser salvos de la culpa, dominio y consecuencias del pecado. Rom. 6:23, “paga del pecado es la muerte”. B. When we speak of the “Plan of salvation” we are talking about how to be saved from the guilt, dominion and consequences of sin. Rom. 6:23, “wages of sin is death.”

4 Pecado - Sin C. Pecado es universal, todos han pecado. Isa. 53:6, “Todos nosotros nos descarria-mos como ovejas, nos apartamos cada cual por su camino”; Rom. 3:23; 1 Jn. 1:8. C. Sin is universal, all have sinned. Isa. 53:6, “All we like sheep have gone astray. We have turned, every one, to his own way”; Rom. 3:23; 1 Jn. 1:8.

5 Pecado - Sin I. La definición del “pecado”. A. La palabra hamartía, traducida “pecado”, significa literalmente “un errar el blanco”. I. The definition of “sin.” A. The word hamartía, translated “sin,” means literally “missing the mark.”

6 Pecado - Sin B. 1 Juan 3:4, “Todo el que practica el pecado (hamartía), practica también la infracción de la ley (anomía), pues el pecado es infracción de la ley (anomía)”. B. 1 John 3:4, “Whoever commits sin (hamartía) also commits lawlessness (anomía), and sin is lawlessness (anomía).

7 Pecado - Sin C. La palabra anomía significa carencia de ley. No se refiere solamente a los vicios comunes sino también a prácticas religio-sos que el Señor no autoriza. Mat. 7:21-23. C. The word anomía means without law. It does not refer only to the common vices, but also to religious practices that the Lord does not authorize. Matt. 7:21-23.

8 Pecado - Sin Es rebelión contra la ley aun de parte de los que profesan ser amigos de la ley de Cristo. El problema es que son indiferentes hacia la ley de Cristo. Prefieren sus ideas, prácticas. It is rebellion against the law even by those who profess to be friends of the law of Christ. Problem is they are indifferent to the law of Christ. Prefer their ideas, practices.

9 Pecado - Sin Ejemplos: instrumentos musicales, “predi-cadoras”, lenguas, milagros y echar demonios, que son “con todo poder y señales y prodigios mentirosos” (2 Tes. 2:9) Examples: instrumental music, women preachers, tongues, miracles and casting out demons, that are “with all power, signs, and lying wonders” (2 Thess. 2:9).

10 Pecado - Sin D. Otros sinónimos de pecado: maldad, perversidad, prevaricación, etc. 1 Jn. 5:17, “toda maldad (injusticia) es pecado”. D. Other synonyms of sin: wickedness, perversity, prevarication, etc. 1 Jn. 5:17, “all unrighteousness is sin.”

11 Pecado - Sin II. La realidad del pecado. A. Muchos no quieren hablar de “pecado”. Prefieren las palabras más suaves como “equívoco” o “falla”. Adulterio = aventura, amorío. II. The reality of sin. A. Many don’t like to talk of “sin.” Prefer softer words like “mis-take” or “fault.” Adultery = an affair.

12 Pecado - Sin Mentiroso = persona con imaginación viva. Exagerar, jactarse, madres que mienten al niño, “te voy a castigar”, “te voy a pegar”, “un monstruo te lleva”. Liar = person with good imagination. Exag-gerate, boast, mothers that lie to child, “I’m going to punish you,” “I’m going to hit you,” “a monster will get you.”

13 Pecado - Sin El borracho está enfermo; homosexual nació así; padres, gobierno y la sociedad injusta responsables de la existencia de pandilleros. Necesitan comprensión. Drunkard is sick; homosexual born that way; parents, government, unjust society responsible for gangs. Need understanding.

14 Pecado - Sin B. Pero ¿qué dice la Biblia? 1 Cor. 6:9, 10; Gál. 5:19-21; Efes. 4:30, 31; Heb. 10:25; 1 Tim. 2:9; Apoc. 3:16. Escuchemos a DIOS y no a los mundanos incrédulos. B. But what does the Bible say? 1 Cor. 6:9, 10; Gál. 5:19-21; Eph. 4:30, 31; Heb. 10:25; 1 Tim. 2:9; Rev. 3:16. Let’s listen to GOD and not worldly unbelievers.

15 Pecado - Sin C. Pecado no se toma en serio. Es tema principal de cómicos. Pecado es pura comedia: adulterio, borrachera, Prov. 14:9, “Los insensatos se burlan del pecado”. C. Sin is not taken seriously. It’s the main theme of comics. Sin is pure comedy: adultery, drunkenness, etc. Prov. 14:9, “Fools mock at sin.”

16 Pecado - Sin Pero el pecado no es broma. Rom. 6:23, “la paga del pecado es la muerte”. Ser sepa-rado de Dios eternamente y sufrir tormento en el infierno no es chistoso. No es broma. But sin is not a joke. Rom. 6:23, “the wages of sin is death.” To be separated from God eternally and suffer torment in hell is not funny. It’s no joke.

17 Pecado - Sin Sant. 4:9, “Afligíos, lamentad y llorad; que vuestra risa se torne en llanto y vuestro gozo en tristeza”. En esta vida muchos están riéndose todo el camino al infierno. James 4:9, “Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.” In this life many are laughing all the way to hell.

18 Pecado - Sin Pero al entrar en el infierno no habrá más risa. Más bien, “habrá el lloro y el crujir de dientes” (Mat. 13:42). El pecado y el infierno no son asuntos chistosos. But when they go into hell, there will be no more laughter. Rather, “There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth” (Matt. 13:42). Sin and hell are not laughing matters.

19 Pecado - Sin D. Peligro de que aun los más fieles se acostumbren al pecado y que no lo tomen muy en serio. Es como lo que vemos en las noticias: guerra, crímenes, muertos.. D. Danger that even most faithful become accustomed to sin and not take it seriously. Like what we see on the news: war, crime, deaths…

20 Pecado - Sin El ruido de los trenes gran estorbo pero uno se acostumbra. En las fábricas de jabón el olor de cadáveres de caballos es horrible, pero los trabajadores se acostumbran. The noise of trains is a big disturbance but one gets used to it. In soap factories the odor of cadavers of horses is horrible, but the workers get used to it.

21 Pecado - Sin Al oír, ver y observar continuamente tanta maldad (por ej. en la TV), uno se acostum-bra. Lenguaje pesado, ropa indecente y desnudez, violencia. “No es tan malo”. When one hears, sees, continually sees wickedness (for ex. on TV), he gets used to it. Bad language, indecent clothing and nakedness, violence. “It’s not so bad.”

22 Pecado - Sin Por eso, Pablo dice, “ya es hora de despertaros del sueño” (Rom. 13:11); “Despierta, tú que duermes, y levántate de entre los muertos” (Efes. 5:14). Therefore Paul says, “now it is high time to awake out of sleep” (Rom. 13:11); "Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead“ (Eph. 5:14).

23 Pecado - Sin E. Es inquietante cuando hermanos hablan de la “unidad en la diversidad” y aceptan error con respecto al divorcio y nuevas nupcias, la deidad de Cristo, la creación. E. It’s disturbing when brethren talk of “unity in diversity” and accept error on divorce and remarriage, deity of Christ, creation.

24 Pecado - Sin III. Clases de pecado. Hechos pecaminosos, 1 Jn. 5:17, “toda maldad (injusticia) es peca-do”. Palabras pecaminosas, Ef. 4:29, “Nin-guna palabra obscena salga de (la) boca”. III. Kinds of sin. Sinful actions, 1 Jn. 5:17, “All unrighteousness is sin.” Sinful words, Eph. 4:29, “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth.”

25 Pecado - Sin Mentira, chisme, maldición. Prov. 20:25, votos hechos “a la ligera” y rotos. Voto a Cristo, matrimonial, etc. y “reflexionar sólo después de haber hecho los votos”. Lie, gossip, curse. Prov. 20:25, vows made “rashly.” Vow to Christ, marriage, etc. and “afterward reconsider his vows.”

26 Pecado - Sin Pensamientos pecaminosos, Efes. 4:31, “Quítense de vosotros toda amargura, enojo, ira”. Gál. 5:19, “celos, enojos, envidia”. Prov. 24:9, La intención del insensato es pecado”. Sinful thoughts, Eph. 4:31, “Let all bitter-ness, wrath, anger… be put away from you.” Gál. 5:19, “jealousy, anger, envy.” Prov. 24:9, “The devising of foolishness is sin.”

27 Pecado - Sin Pecado de omisión (Mat. 23:23; 25:45). No obedecer al evangelio (oír, creer, arrepentir-se, confesar, bautizarse), no adorar (cantar, orar, estudiar, cena, ofrendar). Sin of omission (Matt. 23:23; 25:45). Not obey the gospel (hear, believe, repent, con-fess, baptized), not worship (sing, pray, study, Lord’s Supper, contribution).

28 Pecado - Sin Luc. 12:47, “siervo que sabía la voluntad de su señor, y que… no obró conforme a su voluntad” castigado. Sant. 4:17, “sabe hacer lo bueno y no lo hace, eso le es pecado”. Lk. 12:47, “servant who knew his master's will, and did not… do according to his will” is punished. James 4:17, “to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.”

29 Pecado - Sin Pactos pecaminosos. Éxodo 34:12, “no ha-cer pacto con los habitantes de la tierra”. Jos. 23:13, “serán como lazo… azote en vuestros costados… espinas en ojos…” Sinful alliances. Ex. 34:12, don’t make cove-ant with inhabitants… snare”. Josh. 23:13, they will be snare (trap)… scourges in sides… thorns in eyes…”

30 Pecado - Sin Prov. 22:24, 25, “No hagas amistad con el iracundo, ni tengas tratos con el violento, no sea que aprendas sus maneras y pongas una trampa para tu propia vida”. Prov. 22:24, 25, “Make no friendship with an angry man, lest you learn his ways and set a snare for your soul.”

31 Pecado - Sin 1 Cor. 15:33, “Las malas compañías corrompen las buenas costumbres”; Sant. 4:4, “la amistad del mundo es enemistad hacia Dios”. 1 Cor. 15:33, “"Bad company corrupts good morals.“ James 4:4, “Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God?”

32 Pecado - Sin F. Pecado secreto. Sal. 19:12, “¿Quién entenderá los errores? ¡Líbrame de los que me son ocultos!” Pero estudiar, orar, hacer todo lo posible por discernirlos. F. Secret sin. Ps. 19:12, “Who can discern his errors? Acquit me of hidden faults”. Pero study, pray, do everything possible to discern them.

33 Pecado - Sin Pecado por yerro (descuido o negligencia). Lev. 4:2; 5:17. No pecado cometido “con mano alzada”, con soberbia o arrogancia, desafiando a Dios (Núm. 15:30, 31). Inadvertent sin (carelessness or neglect). Lev. 4:2; 5:17. Not sin committed “with a high hand,” proud, arrogant, defying God (Num. 15:30, 31).

34 Pecado - Sin Pecar “voluntariamente”; acaba de exhortarnos a no dejar de congregarnos (Heb. 10:25, 26). Dejar de reunirse es el primer paso de apostasía de muchos. Sin “willfully”; just exhorted us to not neglect the assembling of ourselves (Heb. 10:25, 26). To fail to assemble is the first step of apostasy for many.

35 Pecado - Sin Pecado de muerte, 1 Jn. 5:16, “Si alguno ve que su hermano comete pecado que no es de muerte, pedirá, y se le dará vida”. Es de muerte si no lo acepta y no se arrepiente. Sin unto death, 1 Jn. 5:16, “If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life.” Unto death if won’t admit sin and repent.

36 Pecado - Sin El pecado que no tiene perdón. Marcos 3:29, blasfemia contra el Espíritu Santo no será perdonada, “Porque decían: Tiene un espíritu inmundo”. The unpardonable sin. Mark 3:29, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, “Because they said: He has an unclean spirit.”

37 Pecado - Sin IV. El poder del pecado. A. El pecado atrae, seduce. Sant. 1:14, “Pero cada uno es tentado cuando es arrastrado y seducido por su propia pasión”. IV. The power of sin. A. Sin attracts, seduces. James 1:14, “But each one is tempted when he is drawn away and enticed by his own lust.”

38 Pecado - Sin B. El pecado engaña. Satanás presenta la desobediencia como algo atractivo y fascinante. Rom. 7:11, “el pecado… me engañó”. Promete mucho, paga con miseria. B. Sin deceives. Satan presents disobe-dience as something attractive and fasci-nating. Rom. 7:11, “sin… deceived me.” Promises much, pays with misery.

39 Pecado - Sin 1 Tim. 2:14, Eva, “al ser engañada, incurrió en transgresión”. 2 Tim. 3:13, “los malos hombres y los engañadores irán de mal en peor, engañando y siendo engañados”. 1 Tim. 2:14, Eve, “being deceived, fell into transgression.” 2 Tim. 3:13, “evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.”

40 Pecado - Sin Heb. 3:13, “exhortaos los unos a los otros cada día, mientras aún se dice: Hoy, para que ninguno de vosotros se endurezca por el engaño del pecado”. Deficiencia seria. Heb. 3:13, “exhort one another daily, while it is called Today, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.” Serious deficiency in the church.

41 Pecado - Sin Satanás engaña al hombre presentando el pecado como muy atractivo, placentero, deseable. Exhibe el placer del pecado pero oculta el dolor y la vergüenza. Satan deceives man by presenting sin as very attractive, pleasing, desireable. Satan exhibits the pleasure of sin but hides the pain and shame.

42 Pecado - Sin Job 20:12, “Aunque el mal sea dulce en su boca, y lo esconda debajo de su lengua, aunque lo guarde y no lo deje ir, sino que lo retenga en su paladar, con todo la comida Job 20:12, "Though evil is sweet in his mouth, And he hides it under his tongue, Though he desires it and will not let it go, But holds it in his mouth, Yet his food

43 Pecado - Sin en sus entrañas se transforma en veneno de cobras dentro de él. Traga riquezas, pero las vomitará; de su vientre se las hará echar Dios. Chupa veneno de cobras, lengua de víbora lo mata”. in his stomach turns sour; It becomes cobra venom within him. He swallows down riches And vomits them up again; God casts them out of his belly. He will suck the poison of cobras; The viper's tongue will slay him.”

44 Pecado - Sin Sal. 52:3, “Amas el mal más que el bien, la mentira más que decir lo que es justo”. Prov. 2:14, “los que se deleitan en hacer el mal, y se regocijan en las perversidades del mal”. Ps. 52:3, “You love evil more than good, Lying rather than speaking righteousness.” Prov. 2:14, “Who rejoice in doing evil, And delight in the perversity of the wicked.”

45 Pecado - Sin Jer. 14:10, “¡Cómo les ha gustado vagar! No han refrenado sus pies. 2 Tes. 2:12, “no creyeron a la verdad, sino que se complacieron en la injusticia”. Jer. 14:10, “Thus they have loved to wander. They have not restrained their feet.” 2 Thess. 2:12, “who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

46 Pecado - Sin Muchos creen que los pecados serán olvidados después de mil años. Creen que si ellos los han olvidado también Dios los ha olvidado. 2 Ped. 3:8. Many believe that their sins will forgotten after a thousand years. They believe that if they have forgotten them, that also God has forgotten them. 2 Pet. 3:8.

47 Pecado - Sin Pensar que pecados son olvidados cuando Dios no los ha perdonado es un equívoco terrible. No olvidar ningún pecado a menos que Dios lo haya olvidado. Heb. 8:12. To think that sins are forgotten when God has not forgiven them is a terrible mistake. Do not forget any sin unless God has for-gotten it. Heb. 8:12.

48 Pecado - Sin Muchas veces alguien comete pecado y los amigos (o siquiatra) le dicen, “no te preocupes, olvídelo”. No hay peligro más grande que esto. Es otra táctica de Satanás para engañar. Many times someone commits sin and friends (or psychiatrist) say, “don’t worry about it, forget it.” There is no danger greater than this. It is another tactic of Satan to deceive.

49 Pecado - Sin C. El pecado esclaviza. Juan 8:34, “todo aquel que practica el pecado es esclavo del pecado”. El orgullo nos engaña, no quere-mos admitir que somos “esclavos”. C. Sin enslaves. John 8:34, “whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.” Pride deceives, we don’t want to admit that we are “slaves.”

50 Pecado - Sin Rom. 6:16, “¿No sabéis que cuando os ofre-céis a alguien para obedecerle como escla-vos, sois esclavos del que obedecéis?” – somos esclavos de Satanás o de Dios. Rom. 6:16, “Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey?” – we are slaves of Satan or of God.

51 Pecado - Sin Hay adicción a drogas, alcohol, tabaco, pero hay muchas adicciones: deportes, trabajo o negocio, sueño, televisión.. o al servicio a Dios, 1 Cor 16:15; 2 Cor. 12:15. There is adiction to drugs, alcohol, tobacco, but there are many adictions: sports, work or business, sleep, television… or to the service of God, 1 Cor. 16:15; 2 Cor. 12:15.

52 Pecado - Sin D. El pecado contamina. Mancha la vida, la reputación, la mente, pensamientos, el habla, el cuerpo, las acciones, familia, negocios. Corrompe, destruye y arruina. D. Sin contaminates. Stains one’s life, reputation, the mind, thoughts, speech, body, actions, family, business. Corrupts, destroys and ruins.

53 Pecado - Sin E. El pecado destruye. Sal. 34:21, “La maldad dará muerte al impío”. Prov. 8:36, “El que peca contra mí, a sí mismo se daña; todos los que me odian, aman la muerte”. E. Sin destroys. Ps. 34:21, “Evil shall slay the wicked.” Prov. 8:36, “He who sins against me wrongs his own soul; All those who hate me love death."

54 Pecado - Sin Sal. 140:11, “El hombre de mala lengua no será firme en la tierra; el mal cazará al hombre injusto para derribarle”. Ps. 140:11, “Let not a slanderer be established in the earth; Let evil hunt the violent man to overthrow him."

55 Pecado - Sin Prov. 11:3, “Destruirá a los pecadores la perversidad de ellos”. v. 19, “el que sigue el mal lo hace para su muerte”. Prov. 18:7, “La boca del necio es quebrantamiento para sí, y sus labios son lazos para su alma”. Prov. 11:3, “the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them.” v.19, “he who pursues evil pursues it to his own death.” Prov. 18:7, “A fool's mouth is his destruction, And his lips are the snare of his soul.”

57 Pecado - Sin V. Debemos aborrecer el pecado A. Dios lo aborrece. Deut. 25:16, “todo el que comete injusticia, es abominación para el Señor tu Dios”. V. We should hate sin A. God hates it. Deut. 25:16, “All who behave unrighteously, are an abomination to the LORD your God.”

58 Pecado - Sin 2 Sam. 11:27, “lo que David había hecho fue malo a los ojos del Señor”. Sal. 5:4, “tú no eres un Dios que se complace en la perver-sidad; la maldad no habitará junto a ti”. 2 Sam. 11:27, “he thing that David had done displeased the LORD.” Ps. 5:4, “For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, Nor shall evil dwell with You.”

59 Pecado - Sin Sal. 11:5, “su alma aborrece al que ama la violencia”. Sal. 101:3, “aborrezco la obra de los que se desvían”. Luc. 16:15, “lo que entre los hombres es de alta estima, abominable es delante de Dios”. Ps. 11:5, “the one who loves violence His soul hates”. Ps. 101:3, “I hate the work of those who fall away”. Lk. 16:15, what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.”

60 Pecado - Sin Sal. 119:104, “De tus preceptos recibo entendimiento, por tanto aborrezco todo camino de mentira”. Ps. 119:104, “Through Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way.”

61 Pecado - Sin Prov. 6:16-19, “Seis cosas aborrece Jehová, y aun siete abomina su alma: ojos altivos, lengua mentirosa, manos que derraman sangre inocente (por ej. el aborto)… Prov. 6:16-19, “These six things the LORD hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood (like abortion)…

62 Pecado - Sin un corazón que maquina planes perversos, pies que corren rápidamente hacia el mal, el testigo falso que habla mentiras y el que provoca discordia entre los hermanos”. A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.”

63 Pecado - Sin Prov. 8:7, “mis labios abominan la impie-dad”. V. 13, “El temor del Señor es aborre-cer el mal. El orgullo, la arrogancia, el mal camino y la boca perversa, yo aborrezco”. Prov. 8:7, “Wickedness is an abomination to my lips.” v. 13, “The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate.”

64 Pecado - Sin Rom. 12:9, “Aborreced lo malo, seguid lo bueno”. Heb. 1:9, hablando de Jesús, “Has amado la justicia y aborrecido la iniquidad”. Toda iniquidad. Jesús aborrece todo pecado Rom. 12:9, “Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.” Heb.1:9, speaking of Jesus, “You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness.” All lawlessness. Jesus hates all sin.

65 Pecado - Sin Anhelar libertad de esta esclavitud y engaño, la limpieza de esta contaminación. Hechos 2:38 nos dice cómo obtener la remisión de los pecados. Luego ¡aborrecer todo pecado! Desire liberty from this slavery and deceit, cleansing from this contamination. Acts 2:38 tells us how to obtain the remission of sins. Then hate all sin!

66 Pecado - Sin VI. Los esfuerzos por cubrir el pecado. Prov. 28:13, “El que encubre sus pecados no prosperará, pero el que los confiesa y los abandona alcanzará misericordia”. Sal 85:2 VI. 67 Pecado - Sin A. Esconderse de Dios. Adán y Eva. Gén. 3:8, cuando pecaron, “se escondieron de la presencia del Señor Dios entre los árboles del huerto”. A. Hide from God. Adam and Eve. Gen. 3:8, when they sinned, “hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.”

68 Pecado - Sin Josué 7:21, “cuando vi entre el botín un manto y doscientos siclos de plata y una barra de oro los codicié y los tomé; y están escondidos en la tierra dentro de mi tienda”. 69 Pecado - Sin Sal. 139:7-12, “¿A dónde me iré de tu Espíritu? ¿A dónde huiré de tu presencia?” Jer. 16:17, “mis ojos están puestos sobre todos sus caminos, que no se me ocultan, ni su iniquidad está encubierta a mis ojos”. Ps. 139:7-12, “Where can I go from your Spirit? Or where can I flee from your presence?” Jer. 16:17, "For my eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from my face, nor is their iniquity hidden from my eyes.”

70 Pecado - Sin Hebreos 4:13, “Y no hay cosa creada oculta a su vista, sino que todas las cosas están al descubierto y desnudas ante los ojos de aquel a quien tenemos que dar cuenta”. Hebrews 4:13, “And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”

73 Pecado - Sin D. Cometer otro pecado como David. Prime-ro adulteró con Betsabé y luego mandó que su marido fuera puesto al frente de la batalla para que lo mataran (2 Sam. 11:4, 15). D. Commit another sin like David. First com-mitted adultery with Bathsheba and then commanded that her husband be put on front line of battle to be killed (2 Sam. 11:4,15).

74 Pecado - Sin E. Culpar a otros. Gén. 3:11, 12, “Has comido del árbol del cual te mandé que no comieras? Y el hombre respondió: La mujer que tú me diste me dio del árbol, y yo comí”. E. Blame others. Gen. 3:11, 12, “Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat? The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate."

75 Pecado - Sin Ex. 32:22, Aarón hizo un ídolo (becerro de oro). “Y Aarón respondió: No se encienda la ira de mi señor. Tú conoces al pueblo, que es inclinado al mal”. 76 Pecado - Sin 1 Sam. 15:21, Saúl desobedeció, pero dijo, “el pueblo tomó del botín ovejas y bueyes, lo mejor de las cosas dedicadas al anatema, para ofrecer sacrificio al Señor”. 1 Sam. 15:21, Saul disobeyed, but he said, “the people took some of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the choicest of the things devoted to destruction, to sacrifice to the Lord.”

77 Pecado - Sin F. Algunos dicen, “¿Para qué arrepentirme? ¿Para qué cambiar? Así soy yo y otros son iguales o peores”. ¿Qué significa esto? Que todos están mal y juntos van al infierno. F. Some say, “Why should I repent? Why change? This is the way I am and others are just as bad or worse.” What does this mean? That all are wrong and will go to hell together.

78 Pecado - Sin G. Otros cubren sus pecados dando la apariencia de ser muy religiosos (Mat. 6:1-18). Hacen su “justicia” para ser vistos y aprobados por los hermanos. G. Others cover their sins giving the appear-ance of being very religious (Matt. 6:1-18). They do their “righteousness” to be seen and approved by the brethren.

79 Pecado - Sin H. Causas principales del pecado. No temer a Dios, Rom. 3:18, “no hay temor de Dios delante de sus ojos”. El orgullo. Efes. 4:17-19, andan en “la vanidad de su mente”. H. They quote Eccles. 7:20, “there is not a just man on earth who does good and does not sin.” But does that prove that man has to sin? No, but that everyone chooses to sin.

82 Pecado - Sin B. ¿Por qué dice 1 Juan 2:1 “os escribo estas cosas para que no pequéis” o 1 Cor. 15:34, “Sed sobrios, como conviene, y dejad de pecar”. ¿Cómo “dejar” si “tiene que”? B. 85 Pecado - Sin E. Mat. 4:1-11, Jesús nos enseña cómo resistir al diablo. Simplemente decir, “Escrito está”. Sant. 4:8, “Resistid, pues, al diablo y huirá de vosotros”. E. Matt. 4:1-11, Jesus teaches us how to resist the devil. Simply say, “It is written.” James 4:8, “Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”
