4 It was a sunny day. Hacía sol.

5 I was walking in the woods when the dog began (empezar) to bark (ladrar) Yo caminaba/ paseaba en el bosque cuando el perro empezó a ladrar. Estaba caminando/paseando….

6 When I was ten I used to climb (trepar/subir) a lot of trees Cuando tenía diez años, subía/trepaba muchos árboles.

7 I went shopping on Black Friday Fui de compras el viernes negro.

8 I was shopping (buying gifts) when I saw my friend. Yo compraba regalos cuando vi a mi amiga. Yo iba de compras cuando vi/miré a mi amiga.
