5 Bring light to the darkness of my heart.

6 Give me right faith,

7 certain hope,

8 and perfect charity.

9 Lord, give me insight

10 and wisdom,

11 So I may always discern

14 Todos aquellos que aman al Señor con todo el corazón, con toda el alma y la mente y con todas sus fuerzas, y aman a sus prójimos como a sí mismos, y adorrecen sus cuerpos con sus vicios y pecados, y reciben el cuerpo y la sangre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, y hacen frutos dignos de penitencia:

15 Oh, ¡cuán dichosos y benditos son aquellos y aquellas que practican estas cosas y perseveran en ellas! Porque se posará sobre ellos el Espíritu del Señor y hará de ellos habitación y morada, y son hijos del Padre celestial, cuyas obras realizan, y son esposos, hermanos y madres de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.
