2 What is a noun? Person, place, or thing. What are some examples of Spanish nouns we have learned? La galleta, la pizza, el refresco, la profesora, un amigo, unos muchachos, las papas fritas, etc.

3 What does an adjective do? Discuss with an amigo. Describes a noun. List some adjectives we have learned this year…. Alto, moreno, tonto, inteligente, travieso…..

4 Singluar MASCULINE Nouns (un, el,) Adjectives agree in Spanish in gender and number with the noun they are describing. When you are describing a masculine noun (el or un), you use the ending o for your adjective. *Some adjectives do not end in o like fuerte, inteligente, interesante, joven, trabajador

5 Brad Pitt es guapo. Brad Pitt es fuerte.* Brad Pitt es talentoso. Brad Pitt es joven.* El helado es bueno. El helado es frío. El helado es grande.*

6 Singluar FEMENINE Nouns (una, la) Adjectives agree in Spanish in gender and number with the noun they are describing. When you are describing a femenine noun (el or un), you use the ending a for your adjective. *Some adjectives do not end in a like fuerte, inteligente, interesante, joven…they stay the same.

7 Beyonce es bonita. Beyonce es creativa. Beyonce es talentosa. Beyonce es inteligente*. La pizza es buena. La pizza es deliciosa. La pizza es grande*.
