Josefina: No fui yo, estaba en la playa para todo el día y encima a mí no me gusta el chocolate. Sara: María..Creo que un ladrón entró en la casa y obviamente se escapó con tu tarta deliciosa. Marta: ¿Cómo sabes tú que la tarta era deliciosa? Me parece muy sospechoso que digas eso. Some problems with letter e and maybe think about how your voice should sound when you tell them it was for Gran’s birthday. Starts very well. Pronunciation is v good but there’s no emotion. You’ve just been accused of stealing a cake! Try to sound offended. Generally v good with one mistake where I can’t hear both vowels. Maybe sound more scared about the ladrón. First half good cause you make it sound like a question but then a few pronunciation errors and not enough of you sounding suspicious! Red = Mistake Blue = Could be better

Click to download María: Eh qué dices mala persona. Yo soy la mejor cocinera en toda la casa – claro que mi tarta es deliciosa. Josefina: Pues todas estas tonterías me dan un dolor de cabeza – podemos olvidarlo de una vez. Sara: Sí ¿por qué no lo olvidemos? – de todas maneras María, es obvio que fue Marta porque a ella le encanta todo lo malsano. Marta: Qué cara tienes! Eres tú la que es la más gorda – siempre te veo con alguna hamburguesa que otra. Almost perfect but the middle bit could maybe do with a bit more feeling. Think about what she says and how you should say it. Some mistakes in pronunciation but also some problems at the end with the way you say ‘shall we just forget it’. One terrible mistake in pronunciation Tasneem!!! Also think about the way you should say ‘it’s obvious that it was...’ Good attitude in your speech but just a few words pronounced incorrectly. Start and end good Sabah but in the middle there are mistakes and it doesn’t sound like you know wht you’re saying. Perfect pronunciation but you’re not quite convincing me about your emotions. Think how she would say this in a real conversation. Good emotional reaction to situation but you’re not emphasising the accents on entró or escapó. Perfect pronunciation but you need to show some emotion Aisha. Think how the person feels when they say this. Red = Mistake Blue = Could be better

Very good, the only criticism i would have is that you should emphasise the ‘yo’ instead of ‘soy’ I am the best cook... Again perfect pronunciation but you’re a bit happy for someone who is getting a headache! Pronunciation good but silly towards end and remember that you need to sound like you’re accusing Marta. Some errors in pronunciation and again Aisha you need to think about how you should sound. What is your emotion? Red = Mistake Blue = Could be better
