As found in the law of God to curb the abuses and create a modicum of justice for women 2, As foretold in Hosea of the restoration of Godly male-female relations 2. The work of Christ to lay a foundation for substantial healing in the relationship between women and men. 4. The Consummation, provides the glorious end to the Story when redemption is not only substantial, but it is complete, and history is consumed with the wedding of the lamb.

6 La Distinción entre Ser y Función
Ser: se refiere a nuestra existencia, sustancia, o naturaleza fundamental. Se refiere al hecho de que fuimos hechos en el Imago Dei. Función: se refiere al propósito, responsabilidades y rol. In Being, all human beings are equal. In Function men and women are diverse in person, role and function in a way that is complementary. While there functions may be different, they are of equal necessity and value.

13 Imago Dei: Tres Facetas
Tiene: describe la perspectiva estructural que el hombre tiene una imagen que es “semejante a la de Dios.” Es: describe la perspectiva racional que el hombre es “comunidad”. Hace: describe la perspectiva funcional sobre lo que el hombre hace – es mayordomo de la creación.

17 Adán es “Semejante a Dios”
El Ser Humano ha de ser semejante a Dios y diferente del resto de la creación. Atributos Comunicables (compartidos) de Dios Mente – Atributos del Intelecto Corazón– Atributos Morales Voluntad – Atributos de Propósito The communicable (shared) attributes of God are those he has shared in some small way with those who are “like Him” – Imago Dei. In these ways we are like God and separated from the rest of the created order. In the following ways God stamped His image into humankind. They include man’s mind, heart and will: Mind - Attributes of Intellect Knowledge Truth Wisdom Heart - Moral Attributes Holiness Love Grace Goodness Mercy Righteousness Patience Will - Attributes of Purpose Free Will (Volition) When found in human beings these may be described as internal capital. The ways in which man is like God enable him to function as a steward of creation. It requires internal self government of the mind, heart and will for the external stewardship of creation In short, humankind stands apart from all of the rest of creation in that man possesses the imago Dei.

18 La Perspectiva Relacional – Comunidad
La Perspectiva Social La Comunidad Divina creó a la comunidad humana. Requerido para el Mandato de crear Sociedades (Génesis 1:28) The Relational View – Community This may also be called the social view and is related to the first part of the Creation Mandate to “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth …. (Genesis 1: 28)” Societal Mandate (Genesis 1:28) The societal mandate to have children and to extend the human family. This means to procreate God’s image and likeness. It means the procreation of eternal beings This stand in contrast to the materialist who would see that having children is creating more mouths to feed. Before the creation of the world, because God is One and Many, there was community, communion and communication. When God created, mankind in His image, He made them for relationship. Because God is Community, the image of God must be community. The essence of this understanding of Imago Dei is community.

19 Complementarios: Varón y Hembra

Just as there is complementariness (unity of diversity) in the Trinity so there is to be in the human community. This is why to represent the fullness of the imago Dei requires both More than one human being and Female and Male to reflect both the Motherheart and Fatherheart of God. One human being could not fully manifest the image of God, because to be the image of God demands social relationship. Neither two men nor two women can fully express the image of God, because the Trinitarian Community is Complementarian (equal and different). 25 Un Propósito Compartido
El Imago Dei: varón y hembra tienen la co-responsabilidad para la mayordomía de la creación Tienen un origen común y un destino común: Co-crear – Pro-crear Co-regir – Vice-Regentes Co-administrar – Mandato del Desarrollo What God had made perfect was “not finished yet.” There were families to be born, people groups to be established, nations to be built. The imago Dei was to populate the earth. There were seeds to be planted, vineyards to be established, music to be scored, dances choreographed, poems to be written, ballads to be sung, art to be sculpted and painted. Women and Men share the same purpose The woman is not an object. She is not the property of man. She is a subject and equally imago Dei. In God’s design, the responsibilities of pro-creation and dominion are joint responsibilities.

32 Responsabilidades Correspondientes
Varón y Hembra cada uno involucrado en ambas esferas. Cada uno tiene una responsabilidad primaria y una responsabilidad secundaria. La mujer es primaria en la esfera doméstica (procreación) y secundaria en la esfera pública (dominio). El hombre es primario en la esfera pública (dominio) y secundario en la esfera doméstica (procreación).
