7 "The Mountain of the Lord" La Montaña del Señor

8 This evening in chapter two of his book, Isaiah penned down a prophecy that we are all probably familiar with. It is a prophecy concerning the latter days and in Isaiahs mind, there is no doubt that he was looking at the latter days in the times of Jesus and the apostles. Isaiah is writing down this prophecy almost 700 years before its fulfillment and he is ready to prophesy about things that he did not know about. Someone may ask, How did he know about what he wrote concerning his prophecy? Esta tarde en el capitulo dos de su libro, Isaías escribe una profecía que probablemente todos nosotros estamos familiarizados con ella. Es una profecía concerniente a los últimos tiempos y en la mente Isaías de seguro no había la menor duda que el miraba en los últimos días de la vida de Jesús y sus apóstoles. Isaías esta mirando casi cerca de 700 anos y escribe a cerca de cosas que el no sabe, pero alguno puede preguntar: Como sabía el acerca de lo que escribió?

9 2 Peter 1:21… for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. 2 Pedro 1:20… entendiendo primero esto, que ninguna profecía de la Escritura es de interpretación privada;

10 They did not speak by their own authority but through Gods. He was guiding his holy men through the intervention of the Holy Spirit. They wrote down the will of God and nothing more; so there should be no doubt in our minds that these men of old spoke under Gods guidance. Ellos no hablaron por su propia autoridad sino que Dios guiaba a sus santos hombres por la intervención del E.S Ellos escribieron solo la voluntad de Dios y nada mas, por lo tanto no debe haber ninguna duda en nuestras mentes que estos hombres de la antigüedad eran guiados por Dios.

11 There is a prophecy in Isaiah 2, but the question is, do we have its fulfillment? If the answer is yes, then, can we know when this prophecy came into realization? Well, let's see. Hay una profecía en Isaías 2 pero la pregunta es: Tenemos su cumplimiento? Si la respuesta es sí, podemos saber cuando esta profecía vino a ser una realidad? Veamos entonces…

13 We need to know something this evening, and this is that a mountain, In the Bible, is on many occasions associated with power. Power, either from God, other people or nations. Isaiah says: Necesitamos saber algo esta tarde y esto es que Monte en la Biblia es en muchas ocasiones asociado con Poder, poder ya sea de Dios de personas o de naciones. Isaías dice:

14 Isaiah 2:2… Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the LORD'S house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And all nations shall flow to it. Isa 2:2… Y acontecerá en lo postrero de los tiempos, que será confirmado el monte de la casa de Jehová por cabeza de los montes, y será ensalzado sobre los collados, y correrán a él todas las naciones.

15 This mountain would come in the latter days... And not only that, this mountain shall be established on the top of the mountains. We can see that this mountain that Isaiah is talking about will be a lot more important than any other mountain or power. But why? Este Monte vendrá en los últimos días…Y no solo eso, este monte será establecido como cabeza de Montes, Podemos ver que este monte del que Isaías esta hablando será mucho mas importante que cualquier otro monte o poder pero, Por qué?

16 We have had great nations, great countries and great leaders; is Isaiah referring to any of these in particular? I doubt it, we cannot see the Kingdoms of the USA, Canada or England in this prophecy. Isaiah is not referring to any of these as many premilenialist want us to believe, Isaiah has something more important in mind: Hemos tenido en el pasado, grandes naciones y lideres; Se esta refiriendo Isaías a alguno de estos en particular? Lo dudo, no podemos ver en esta profecía los reinos de EEUU, Canadá o Inglaterra. Isaías no se esta refiriendo a ninguno de estos como muchos premilenealistas nos quieren hacer creer. Isaias tiene en mente algo mas importante:

17 Daniel 2:44… "And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. Da 2:44… Y en los días de estos reyes, levantará el Dios del cielo un reino que nunca jamás se corromperá; y no será dejado a otro pueblo este reino; el cual desmenuzará y consumirá todos estos reinos, y él permanecerá para siempre.

18 Please brethren, understand that this Kingdom in Daniel 2:44 is the exact same mountain that is found in Isaiah 2:2. Both Daniel and Isaiah were talking about the same thing. Por favor hermanos entendamos que este Reino en Daniel 2:44 es exactamente el mismo Monte que en Isaías 2:2. Ambos Daniel y Isaías estaban hablando de la misma cosa.

19 Zec 1:17… "Again proclaim, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts: "My cities shall again spread out through prosperity; The LORD will again comfort Zion, And will again choose Jerusalem." When will this happen? In the latter days. Isaiah says: Zec 1:17… Clama aún, diciendo: Así dice Jehová de los ejércitos: Aun serán ensanchadas mis ciudades por la abundancia del bien; y aun consolará Jehová a Sión, y escogerá todavía a Jerusalén. Cuando acontecerá esto? En los últimos días dice Isaías:

20 Zec 2:10… ¶ "Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming and I will dwell in your midst," says the LORD. Let me remind you that all of these prophecies are looking at the one that Isaiah already spoke of in his book. Zac 2:10… Canta y alégrate, hija de Sión: porque he aquí vengo, y moraré en medio de ti, ha dicho Jehová. Permítanme recordarles que todas estas profecías están mirando hacia la profecía de la cual Isaías hablara en su libro.

21 Micah 4:1, 2… ¶ Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the LORD'S house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And peoples shall flow to it… 2 Many nations shall come and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths." For out of Zion the law shall go forth, And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. Mic 4:1, 2… Y ACONTECERÁ en los postreros días que el monte de la casa de Jehová será establecido por cabecera de montes, y será exaltado más que los collados, y los pueblos correrán a él. 2 Y vendrán muchas naciones, y dirán: Venid, y subamos al monte de Jehová, y a la casa del Dios de Jacob; y Él nos enseñará en sus caminos, y andaremos por sus sendas; porque de Sión saldrá la ley, y de Jerusalén la palabra de Jehová.

22 Brothers, according to Isaiah, this will be a great Mountain. Yes, Isaiah is seeing the mountain of the Lord developing, but according to Daniel, when Daniel was receiving his prophecy from God, this mountain was described as a very small rock that later became a big rock, that destroyed all of the Kingdoms of his day… Hermanos, de acuerdo a Isaías este será un Gran Monte sí, Isaías está mirando El Monte del Señor ya desarrollado pero según Daniel cuando el recibió la profecía departe de Dios, el lo describe como una roca muy pequeña que luego se convierte en una gran ROCA que destruye todos los reinos de sus días.

23 Daniel 2:34, 35… "You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. 35 "Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. Da 2:34… Estabas mirando, hasta que una piedra fue cortada, no con mano, la cual hirió a la imagen en sus pies de hierro y de barro cocido, y los desmenuzó. 35 Entonces fue también desmenuzado el hierro, el barro cocido, el bronce, la plata y el oro, y se tornaron como tamo de las eras del verano; y los levantó el viento, y nunca más se les halló lugar. Mas la piedra que hirió a la imagen, vino a ser una gran montaña, que llenó toda la tierra.

24 The idea is that this mountain that Isaiah is prophesying about here, would be more important than any other kingdom that might have existed in the world, either past or present. La idea es que este monte del cual Isaías está profetizando será mucho mas importante que cualquier otro reino que halla existido en mundo, ya sea pasado o presente.

26 The futuristics keep teaching that the kingdom of God cannot be located now days, because it hasnt been established yet. Are we still waiting for this Great Mountain to come, or is it already among us? Los futuristas siguen ensenando que no podemos localizar este reino hoy en día por la razón que este no ha sido establecido todavía. Seguimos todavía esperando pare que este gran Monte llegue, o, se encuentra ya entre nosotros?

27 In The model prayer when Jesus was teaching the disciples on how to pray, He said: Mt 6:9… ¶ "In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. En la oración modelo cuando Jesús ensenara a los discípulos a como orar el les dijo: Mt 6:9… Vosotros, pues, oraréis así: Padre nuestro que estás en el cielo, santificado sea tu nombre. 10 Venga tu reino. Hágase tu voluntad en la tierra, así como en el cielo.

28 Is Lord Jesus asking the disciples to pray for the same kingdom that Isaiah and Micah are talking about? Yes, it is the same kingdom when Jesus was teaching the disciples on how to pray; that kingdom had not been established yet. Está Jesús diciendo a los discípulos que oren por el mismo Reino del cual Isaías y Miqueas hablaron? Sí, es el mismo Reino, cuando Jesús estaba enseñando a los discípulos a cómo orar; El Reino todavía no había sido establecido.

29 It would be foolish on our part to pray for the kingdom to come when the kingdom is already among us… How do we know that? Mark 9:1… ¶ And He said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God present with power." Sería Absurdo de nuestra parte orar porque el reino venga cuando el reino ya está entre nosotros… Cómo sabemos eso? Mar 9:1… TAMBIÉN les dijo: De cierto os digo que hay algunos de los que están aquí, que no gustarán la muerte hasta que hayan visto el reino de Dios venido con poder.

30 If the kingdom is not among us, then we must look for some very, very, very old people from Jesus time. They must still be alive, because Lord Jesus said: They will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God present with Power. Where are these people then? There are NONE! Why? Because the kingdom is already here! Si el reino no esta entre nosotros, entonces debemos buscar entre nosotros por gente vieja, vieja, vieja de los días de Jesús puesto que El dijo: No gustarán la muerte hasta que hayan visto en reino de Dios venido con poder Dónde están esas personas? No hay NINGUNA, por qué? Porque el Reino ya está entre nosotros!

31 Isaiah said that in the latter days… we are living in the latter days and there will be no more latter days after this brethren! Mt 16:18… "And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. Isaías dice que en los últimos días, nosotros estamos viviendo en los últimos días y no habrá mas últimos días después de estos hermanos! Mt 16:18… Y yo también te digo que tú eres Pedro, y sobre esta roca edificaré mi iglesia, y las puertas del infierno no prevalecerán contra ella.

32 Again, in Matthew 16:18, Lord Jesus is talking in future tense because the church has not been established yet. Yes, this is the Great Mountain that Isaiah prophesied about, and it is the same church that Lord Jesus is referring to in Matthew 16. Mt 16:28… "Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom." Otra vez, en Mateo 16:18 El Señor Jesús esta hablando en sentido futuristico puesto que la iglesia todavía no había sido establecida, claro, este es el gran Monte que Isaías profetizara y es la misma iglesia que Jesús menciono en Mateo 16. Mt 16:18… Y yo también te digo que tú eres Pedro, y sobre esta roca edificaré mi iglesia, y las puertas del infierno no prevalecerán contra ella.

33 Mt 16:28… "Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom." Again, Jesus is saying and confirming that the church and the Kingdom which He spoke of in verse 16 are the exact same thing. This is the same Mountain that Isaiah was talking about. Mt 16:28… De cierto os digo que hay algunos de los que están aquí, que no gustarán la muerte, hasta que hayan visto al Hijo del Hombre viniendo en su reino. Otra vez Jesús esta diciendo y confirmando que la iglesia y el reino de los cuales El habló en el verso 16 son la misma cosa. Esta es la misma Montaña de la cual Isaías estaba hablando.

34 The kingdom that Lord Jesus promised to establish is already among us. 700 years before, Isaiah talked about something new that was to be established, in the book of Acts. That mountain became a reality and now you and I can read about it in the N.T. El Reino que el Señor Jesús prometió establecer esta ya entre nosotros. 700 anos antes Isaías hablo de algo nuevo que seria establecido, en el libro de los Hechos esa Montana se hizo una realidad y hoy usted y yo podemos leer acerca de ella en el N.T

35 Acts 2:1-4… Ac 2:1 ¶ When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Hechos 2:1-4… Y CUANDO se cumplieron los días de Pentecostés, estaban todos unánimes en un mismo lugar. 2 Y de repente vino un estruendo del cielo como de un viento recio que corría, el cual llenó toda la casa donde estaban sentados; 3 y se les aparecieron lenguas repartidas, como de fuego, asentándose sobre cada uno de ellos. 4 Y fueron todos llenos del Espíritu Santo, y comenzaron a hablar en otras lenguas, según el Espíritu les daba que hablasen.

36 This is the exact power that Lord Jesus was mentioning in Mark 9:1. It did come with Power, and after that, the mountain, Kingdom, or church is not mentioned in the future tense but in the present tense… Este es exactamente el Poder que Jesús mencionara en Marcos 9:1. Si vino con Poder y de allí en adelante, la El Gran Monte, Reino o iglesia ya no es cosa del futuro sino del presente.

37 Ac 2:41… Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. Ac 2:46… So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, Hechos 2:41… Así que, los que con gozo recibieron su palabra, fueron bautizados; y aquel día fueron añadidas a ellos como tres mil almas. Hechos 2:46… Y perseverando unánimes cada día en el templo, y partiendo el pan en las casas, comían juntos con alegría y sencillez de corazón,

38 Ac 2:47… praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. Col 1:13… He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, Hechos 2:47… alabando a Dios, y teniendo favor con todo el pueblo. Y el Señor añadía cada día a la iglesia los que habían de ser salvos. Col 1:13… el cual nos ha librado de la potestad de las tinieblas, y trasladado al reino de su amado Hijo;

39 1 Co 1:2… To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: That Great Mountain, is not a prophecy anymore, The church of Christ is the fulfillment of that prophecy spoken about by Isaiah! 1Co 1:2… a la iglesia de Dios que está en Corinto, a los santificados en Cristo Jesús, llamados a ser santos, con todos los que en todo lugar invocan el nombre de nuestro señor Jesucristo, Señor de ellos y nuestro. Ese Gran Monte no es una profecía ya mas, La Iglesia de Cristo es el cumplimiento de lo que Isaías profetizara.

41 Isaiah says that to the mountain, all people shall flow. Isaiah 2:2, 3… Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the LORD'S house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And all nations shall flow to it… Isa 2:3 Many people shall come and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths." For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. Isaías dice que a ese monte, todas las gentes correrán. Isa 2:2-3… Y acontecerá en lo postrero de los tiempos, que será confirmado el monte de la casa de Jehová por cabeza de los montes, y será ensalzado sobre los collados, y correrán a él todas las naciones. 3 Y vendrán muchos pueblos, y dirán: Venid, y subamos al monte de Jehová, a la casa del Dios de Jacob; y nos enseñará en sus caminos, y caminaremos por sus sendas. Porque de Sión saldrá la ley, y de Jerusalem la palabra de Jehová.

42 Anybody who wants to, can come and worship God on this new mountain which is the church. There is no partiality of people anymore. We have received the blessings from God and He made us a part of that beautiful kingdom. Brother and sister, you and I, we are members of this beautiful body and Isaiah says that whosoever wants to come, the Lord will receive him! Cualquiera que quiera puede adorar a Dios en este Nuevo Monte que es la iglesia, no hay ya mas acepción de personas. Hemos recibido las bendiciones de Dios y El nos hizo parte de este precioso reino, hermano y hermana usted y yo somos parte de este precioso reino y Isaías dice que cualquiera que quiera puede venir, el Señor le recibirá!

43 Luc 24:47… "and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Col 3:11… where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all. Ro 10:12… ¶ For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. Lu 24:47… y que se predicase en su nombre el arrepentimiento y la remisión de pecados en todas las naciones, comenzando desde Jerusalén. Col 3:11… donde no hay griego ni judío, circuncisión ni incircuncisos, bárbaro ni scyta, siervo ni libre; sino que Cristo es el todo, y en todos. Ro 10:12… Porque no hay diferencia entre judío y griego; porque el mismo que es Señor de todos, es rico para con todos los que le invocan.

44 Ga 3:28… There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Ga 5:6… For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love. Ga 3:28… Ya no hay judío, ni griego; no hay esclavo, ni libre; no hay varón, ni mujer; porque todos vosotros sois uno en Cristo Jesús. Ga 5:6… Porque en Jesucristo ni la circuncisión vale algo, ni la incircuncisos, sino la fe que obra por amor.

45 Can I become a member of this Mountain that Isaiah spoke about in chapter 2? Yes you can. The door is open for anyone who wants to believe in the name of The Son of God. The Great Mountain is a reality and we the Christians do not wait for any other kingdom to be established. It is here now and we want you to be a part of it… What can you do? Puedo ser miembro de este monte del cual Isaías habla en verso 2? Claro que si. La puerta esta abierta para todo aquel que crea en el nombre del hijo de Dios. El Gran Monte es una realidad y nosotros los cristianos ya no esperamos por otro reino a que sea establecido, ya esta aquí y todos podemos ser parte de el. Que necesitamos hacer?

46 The Invitation: Hear Believe: Repent: Confess: Be baptize. La Invitación: Oír: Creer: Arrepentirse: Confesar: Ser Bautizado.
