2 IR: To go Yo voy(I go) Tu vas(You go) El, ella, ustedva(He, she goes) Nosotros, nosotrasvamos (We go) Vosotros, vosotrasváis (You go) Ellos, ellas, ustedesvan (They go)

3 Contraction al The verb IR is usually followed by the preposition a. When the preposition a is followed by the masculine article el, the two words form the contraction al. a + el = al If the noun following the article is feminine we will usea la : Ella va a la universidad. (She goes to the university) If the noun following the article is masculine we will useal : Yo voy al parque. (I go to the park)

7 ¿Adónde + IR? The expression ¨Adónde¨ indicates to where we are going and it´s used with the verb IR (to go) ¿Adónde vas? Yo voy a clase (to) Where are you going? Im going to class The expressión ¨dónde¨ is a question word that indicates location and means where. ¿Dónde está Pedro? Where is Pedro?
