REFLEXIVE VERBS A verb is reflexive when the subject and the object are the same. (yo) Me lavo I wash myself BUT (yo) Lavo el coche Since the subject also receives the action, the verb is reflexive, an additional pronoun is needed: me, te, se, nos, os, se Me lavo el pelo BUT NOT Me lavo mi pelo or Lavo mi pelo

5 despertarse: to wake up (e:ie)
