2 Dear Parents: For this quarter in FLES class, we will cover the theme of Ecosystems (los ecosistemas). Your child will learn about: (1) the six principal ecosystems, (2) animals who live in the respective ecosystems, (3) and the climate of the various ecosystems. As a culmination to this theme, your child will be asked to create a presentation of one ecosystem using the vocabulary learned in FLES class. This presentation will be started and worked on during class. Please have students finish anything not completed in class, and practice at home. Students will create either: a) a poster collage (b) a PowerPoint presentation, or (c) a video…as a visual tool to present. The question structures below, which will be covered in class, must be covered in your child’s presentation. Your child may include more, but these are the minimum requirements. The questions below are provided for your information. Students will bring home their own copy which will be filled out in class. Your child will be allowed to use his/her draft when presenting his/her visual, if desired. The following are the questions covered in class and needed for the presentation: QUESTIONS: Los ecosistemas ¿Cuál es tu ecosistema? (Which is your ecosystem?) PROYECTO ECOSYSTEMS (ECOSISTEMAS) Student Instructions Purpose: You will use “ECOSYSTEMS” Spanish vocabulary and grammar to tell about your favorite ecosystem. You will answer questions about animals and the climate of your chosen ecosystem.   Objectives: You will create and give a presentation using Spanish grammar and vocabulary learned during the ecosystems unit.   Task: You will work on your own to create a presentation of your ecosystem. A poster, Power Point presentation, or video will be used as a visual tool when you present your project to the class. The following 3 categories and the questions below them must be covered in your presentation. You may include more, but the minimum requirements are as follows:   QUESTIONS: 1.
