2 ¿Cómo formamos el futuro? The future tense in Spanish is based on the infinitive. To the infinitive we add the following endings: yohablaréI will talk túhablarásyou will talk élhablaráhe will talk nosotroshablaremoswe will talk vosotroshablaréisyou all will talk elloshablaránthey will talk

3 These endings are the same for all regular verbs (ar, er, & ir). For example: comer comeré, comerás, comerá, comeremos, comeréis, comerán dormir dormiré, dormirás, dormirá, dormiremos, dormiréis, dormirán Note: all forms in the future have accents, except for the nosotros form.

Of course … there are some irregular verbs, but not too many … they can be grouped together as follows: A:-er verbs whose infinitives drop the e B:verbs whose stems end in l or n change the vowel of the ending to d C:and the completely irregular stem verbs
