IR A + INFINITIVE

To talk about FUTURE events, we can use the verb “IR”.
“IR” = TO GO In English, we say: I am going to dance.

To say what people are GOING TO DO…use these 3 steps:
1. Conjugate IR (it must match the subject) yo voy nosotros vamos tú vas vosotros vais él ella va Ud. ellos ellas van Ustedes

2) next, add the word “A” = to
3) then, add the INFINITIVE (what the subject is going to do) **an INFINITIVE is an UNCONJUGATED verb. **an INFINITIVE will always end with –AR, -ER, or -IR

EJEMPLOS: I am going to run in the park. She is going to swim.
We are going to study. (Yo) voy a correr en el parque. Ella va a nadar. (Nostros) vamos a estudiar.
