Best practices of the youth employment initiative developed by local entities at the Valencian Community Andreu Iranzo Navarro General Director for European Funds

2 EMPLOYMENT SUBSIDIES PROGRAMME FOR YOUTH IN LOCAL ENTITIES.
The Generalitat Valenciana is working to improve the employability of young people, in order to facilitate their insertion in the workplace and improve their situation in the labor market. The main action is the EMPLOYMENT SUBSIDIES PROGRAMME FOR YOUTH IN LOCAL ENTITIES.

3 The calls’ aim is to grant:
young people (contracts over 16 years old) registered in the National Youth Guarantee System in the territorial area of ​​the Valencian Community, contracts between 7 and 12 months in 2017 contracts for 12 months in 2018 by local entities

EC: all temporary hiring measures subject to feasibility studies and follow-up evaluations Management body (SERVEF): Prior verification of profile fulfillment  to guarantee hiring will improve experience and employability. Elaboration of a Protocol for the attention of the young people recruited, with accompanying measures  to facilitate the adaptation of the young people to their insertion processes. Elaboration of a Plan to verify the maintenance of the minimum recruitment length.
