Information about the heart The human heart is made of different muscles that helps the human species breathe and pump blood. The human heart is an involuntary muscle that we can not control. The heart s is composed of cardiac muscles. The right atrium pumps de-oxygenated blood through out the body. If you puncture the Aorta you instantly die. The heart beats at 75-80 times per minute. The heart of a baby beats 120-180 times per minute.

The adult heart has 5 liters of blood. It also pumps 7500 liters per day. In one day the heart pumps 100,000 times. In a year the heart pumps 36 million times. The heart is located inside the middle of the chest.
