2 The pronoun “se” identifies the verb as reflexive.

The pronoun (me, te, se, nos, se) goes BEFORE the conjugated verb. DUCHARSE me ducho nos duchamos te duchas os ducháis se ducha se duchan

5 with INFINITIVES Ellos se van a vestir. Ellos van a vestirse.
The reflexive pronoun may be placed BEFORE the conjugated verb or ATTACHED to the infinitive (-ar/-er/-ir). Ellos se van a vestir. Ellos van a vestirse.

6 I am going to put on make up.
Me voy a poner el maquillaje. Voy a ponerme el maquillaje. We want to brush our teeth. Nos queremos cepillar los dientes. Queremos cepillarnos los dientes.

7 with PRESENT PARTICIPLE
The reflexive pronoun may be placed BEFORE the conjugated verb or ATTACHED to the present participle (-ando/-iendo/-yendo). Nos estamos lavando las manos. Estamos lavándonos las manos.

8 ¡ATENCIÓN! When a reflexive pronoun is attached to a present participle, an accent mark is added to maintain the original stress. bañando = bañándose durmiendo = durmiéndose

9 They are brushing their teeth.
Se están cepillando los dientes. Están cepillándose los dientes. She is getting dressed. Se está vistiendo. Está vistiéndose.
