7 Double Negatives in Spanish
It is acceptable and necessary to have a double negative when a negative word follows a verb. Ella nunca quiere hacer la tarea tampoco. Él nunca dice nada. ¿Tienes un bolígrafo? No, no tengo ninguno. Talk about it being acceptable and necessary to have double negatives in Spanish when a negative word follows a verb. Example: Ella nunca quiere hacer la tarea tampoco. She never wants to do the homework neither. Él nunca dice nada. He never says nothing. Do you have a pencil? No, I don't have none.
