I slept a lot in the car because I traveled a lot. I watched many funny movies. I saw my friends in the park. Nunca me levanté antes de la una de la tarde. Sólo/Solamente hice lo regular. Siempre me acosté después de la una de la mañana. Hice muchas cosas divertidas. Fui a la casa de mi tía. Me acosté tarde y me levanté tarde. Dormí mucho en el carro porque viajé mucho. Miré muchas películas cómicas. Vi a mis amigos en el parque.

12 The Preterite = Past Tense
The Preterite is used to talk about events that happened in the past: 1 time or a limited number of times At a specific time (yesterday, last night, last year, etc.) and is COMPLETED & OVER. Had a result: She had a baby  result VS She had money  possession (ayer, anoche, el año pasado)

Preterite = 1 of 2 Past Tenses I talked with María. I ran around the park 2 times. I received a gift yesterday. I had a party. result The other one is The Imperfect The Imperfect would be repeated actions in the past including “used to”. (I was talking, I used to talk, I always talked, etc.)
