Preterito Preterito is used when you are talking about a specific time. Endings for -ar verbs: -e, -aste, -o, -amos, and - aron Endings for -er and -ir verbs: -i, -iste, -io, -imos, and -ieron *Conjugate lo que hiciste en preterito.

Saber, Conocer, Poder, and Querer
Preterito Saber= found out, didn’t find out Conocer= met (people), didn’t meet Poder= managed, was/were able, succeeded, didn’t accomplish Querer= tried, to refuse (negative), loved

Estar vs. Ser Use estar when talking about position, location, action ing, condition/wheather, and emotions. Use ser when talking about description, occupation, characteristic, time/date, origin, and relationships.
