To make a sentence negative in Spanish, put “no” in front of the verb or expression. This is the equivalent of “not” in English. No me gusta correr I do not like to run.

Negative sentences To answer a yes/no question negatively in Spanish, “no” is usually used twice. The first “no” answers the question, the second “no” means “not”. ¿Te gusta bailar? No, no me gusta bailar.

Use ni ni in a sentence If you want to say that you don’t like either of two things, use ni…ni. No me gusta ni dibujar ni trabajar.
