Reporting what others say and think - Estas expresiones se usan cuando no se sabe quién dijo algo o cuando "todo el mundo" lo dice: Alguien me dijo que cancelaron el concierto. Somebody told me that they cancelled the concert. Se cree que el virrey es justo. It’s believed that the viceroy is fair. Oí que el azteca encontró un bolso de oro. I heard that the Aztec found a bag of gold. Dicen que el azteca es honrado. They say that the Aztec is honorable. Se dice que el azteca devolvió el bolso al español. They say that the Aztec returned the bag to the Spaniard. Según la leyenda el azteca fue a hablar con el virrey. According to the legend, the Aztec went to speak to the viceroy. Supuestamente el virrey le dio el bolso al Azteca. Supposedly the viceroy gave the bag to the Aztec. Cuentan que el español no fue honesto. They say that the Spaniard wasn’t honest.
