de octubre 2017 lunes:“Día de vestir en color rojo”, Los estudiantes traerán vestuario de color rojo para representar que van a vivir una vida sin la droga” martes: “Si se puede vivir sin drogas , Yo puedo, Tu puedes, Nosotros podemos caminar contra las drogas” Traer una lata de comida a la escuela y durante la hora de P.E los estudiantes recibirán una pulsera roja contra droga. “ Ay que estampar a las drogas, Usar calcetines locos” Queridos Padres, Vista del Sol celebrara la semana de Listón Rojo. El Tema será “ ser fuerte, ser honesto, ser tu” Todos los días tenemos un tema diferente por favor apoyen a sus hijos en participar en estos eventos. . miercoles: “ Ser un héroe y no usar drogas” Los estudiantes deberán vestir de su favorito héroe. jueves: ” Sigue tus suenos y no vallas por el camino de drogas” Los estudiantes podran traer sus pajamas favoritas. lunes: “ BOO a las Drogas ” Los estudiantes pueden traer su disfras. Porfavor no traer disfras muy espantoso o con sangre o espadas o pistolas. Concurso de esculpir calabaza. Esculpir la calabaza en casa. Se elegiran las calabazas ganadoras. viernes: “Un equipo contra la droga” Vestir con su camiseta favorite de su equipo preferido”

2 Red Ribbon and College Week at Vista Del Sol
Oct ,2017 Monday : “Stay focused drug free and be College Ready’ Your future is key. Students and staff should glasses to stay focused along with their college shirt. They will sign their names in the Drug Free Pledge Banner. Dear Parents: Tuesday: “Being Drug Free comes in Cans… I Can, You Can, We Can walk straight into college by living a drug free life” Students will bring in a canned food and they will receive a red drug free bracelet during P.E . Canned goods will be donated to a local charity. Walk out on drugs walk a thon. Parents are encouraged to come walk during kids P.E times. Next week we will be celebrating Red Ribbon and College week. Please encourage your children to participate in our school activities that we will be having throughout the week. The theme will be “ Say no to Drugs , Say yes to College“ Essay/Poem & Poster Contest: Students will be encouraged to participate in writing a poem/essay or creating a poster “Anti Drug or College Bound message” Wednesday: “My Future is great without drugs” Dress up as what you want to be when you go to college. Friday : “Texans go to College and give Drugs the boot” Dress in Western Attire. Thursday : “Follow Your Dreams and go to college” Don’t do Drugs ” Students and staff should wear pajamas to show their commitment to be drug free and college bound. Contest “ Carve Drugs Away” Pumpkin carving contest, carve a pumpkin at home . Carved pumpkins will be judged on Friday.

3 Essay/Poem & Poster Contest:
Red Ribbon Week October , 2016 Essay/Poem & Poster Contest: Students will be encouraged to participate in writing a poem/essay or creating a poster that has an Anti-Drug message. Guest Speakers: Friday, October 21, 2016 Red Ribbon Kick Off: U.S Border Patrol, Drug Awareness Robotic Presentation.
