Prompt: Although you normally have a wonderful relationship with a significant person in your life, you are currently experiencing a disagreement/conflict and are seeking advice from Querido Sabelotodo (“Dear Know-It-All”). Describe the relationship you have with this person (sibling, boyfriend/girlfriend, best friend, parent, teacher, etc.) Describe how you and this person get along Describe the good and bad qualities of the relationship Describe a problem/conflict you are currently having with this person that has at least 3 specific details/components Ask for advice on how to resolve the issue(s) Write at least words and include the word count at the bottom Sign off anonymously with a name that reflects your problem Look at the example on the next slide but DO NOT PLAGIARIZE! “Share” the letter w/the 2 other classmates you were assigned to & Sra. Yo tengo un conflicto con una de mis amigas. Catalina es mi mejor amiga y usualmente pasamos mucho tiempo juntas y cuando yo tengo un problema ella me apoya. Normalmente es una persona muy cariñosa y comprensiva pero en este momento, no es. Ella ha convertido y es molesta e infantil. Recientemente yo conocí a un chico guapo y quiero salir con él. Yo le dije a Catalina y ahora ella me parece irritada y enojada. Usualmente nos discutimos todo lo que pasa en nuestras vidas pero ahorita no quiero decirle nada. Catalina es muy celosa y habla mal de mí a los demás (1). No entiendo por qué ella es tan celosa. Ella es una buena persona pero nunca está contenta con todo lo que tiene (2). Estoy preocupada porque pienso que ella no es agradecida (grateful) por nuestra amistad y no reconoce que es un regalo (3). No sé cómo ayudarla. Espero que ella pueda ver que es una chica muy afortunada a tener una mejor amiga como yo. Por favor, ayúdame a ayudarla. ¿Qué debo hacer? ¿Qué me aconseja? Consejos: You are Querido Sabelotodo (“Dear Know-It-All”) responding to the problem/conflict given to you. Clearly state what advice you are giving to help the person resolve the problem/issue. Write a word response. Use the subjunctive and all of WEIRDO. Sign off as Sabelotodo. Respond to 2 different classmates conflicts/problems as Sabelotodo Create a new page/slide with your response and sign off as Sabelotodo + your name (ie: Sabelotodo Ryko) Include the word count at the end of your response
