21 Estados Miembros (21 Secciones Nacionales) y 4 Observadores permanentes Interpretación territorial e histórica del continente Programas Científico y Publicaciones The Institute is supported by twenty-one member countries, and concentrates on scientific research and publications in the fields of cartography, geography, history and geophysics. From the continental viewpoint of the Americas, it innovates in analyses of scientific relevance.

3 Agenda Panamericana The PAIGH structures its activities around the Pan American Agenda, which, with existing geographic information and the multidisciplinary participation of the relevant agencies, provides leadership in modernization, innovation, and the development of future generations of specialists.

4 PAIGH SIRGAS UN-GGIM: Américas GeoSUR
Plan de Acción Conjunto Para Acelerar el desarrollo de la IDE en América PAIGH SIRGAS UN-GGIM: Américas GeoSUR The PAIGH is one of four programs that coordinate together on many issues; the other members of this alliance are the GeoSur program, the Americas Regional network attached to the United Nations Geospatial Information program, and the Geocentric Reference System for the Americas.

5 Vinculación del IPGH a la Red Interamericana de Catastro
Creación de un grupo de trabajo en catastro que coordine las actividades sobre el tema. Estimular la presentación de Proyectos Semilla al Programa de Asistencia Técnica del IPGH. Suscribir acuerdos de cooperación para financiar este tipo de proyectos. Coordinar programas de capacitación  virtual en catastro. Difundir esta temática a la Red Panamericana de Profesionales. Estimular la publicación de artículos sobre catastro en las revistas Geográfica y Cartográfica. Generar un espacio de debate y orientación sobre el tema en las Secciones Nacionales. Incluir el tema de catastro en casos de Estudio Costo Beneficio
