Formal v.s. Informal & Genders
Informal is used with friends or people the same age. Formal is used with elders, parents, bosses, teachers, and strangers. Nouns, Pronouns, Articles, and Adjectives are all either masculine or feminine in Spanish. Gender rule of thumb: If it ends in –o, it’s masculine. If it ends in –a, it’s feminine.
