2 To say what you are going to do in the future, use the phrase:

4 Use the construction Voy + a + infinitive to talk about what you will do in the future.
Yo voy a estudiar más. Yo voy a ver la televisión menos. Yo voy a hacer mi tarea. Yo voy a ser más simpático. I am going to study more. I am going to watch TV less. I am going to do my homework. I am going to be nicer.

5 Use the construction (ir) + a + infinitive to talk
about what other people will do in the future. La señora Epperson va a pintar su casa. Silvia y su madre van a ir a Australia. Guillermo y yo vamos a cantar “La bamba.” Ana va a comer chicharrones. Tú vas a leer una revista. Mrs. Epperson is going to paint her house. Silvia and her mom are going to go to Australia. Guillermo and I are going to sing “La bamba.” Ana is going to eat pork rinds. You are going to read a magazine.

6 ¿Qué quiere decir…? My friends are going to eat.
We are going to practice softball. I am going to read a novel. Are you going to go to the store? Mis amigos van a comer. Nosotras vamos a practicar softball. Yo voy a leer una novela. ¿Vas a ir a la tienda?

7 ¿Cómo se dice…? Javier va a usar la computadora.
Tatiana y su hermano van a pasear. Voy a pasar un rato con mis amigos. ¿Vamos a trabajar hoy? Javier is going to use the computer. Tatiana and her brother are going to take a walk. I am going to spend time with my friends. Are we going to work today?
