To say who performed the action, you must CONJUGATE the verb. Huh? What is “conjugating”? Conjugating a verb means changing it into one of its 5 forms to say who performed an action.

(Subject Pronouns) Singular yo tú él / ella / Ud. Plural nosotros ellos / ellas / Uds.

4 Every verb has 2 parts: STEM + ENDING Hablar = habl-
Practicar = practi- Estudiar = estudi- Trabajar = trabaj- Cocinar = cocin- Mirar = mir- Escuchar = escuch- Jugar = jug- Presentar = present- Comprar = compr- + AR

5 To form the present tense:
STEM Verb ending -o -as -a -amos -áis -an

Step 1: Take the stem Habl- Step 2: Add the appropriate VERB ENDING to match the subject Take the verb HABLAR: habl ar habl o as a amos an
