3 Gender of nouns In Spanish all nouns have gender. Words that end in –o typically are masculine Words that end in –a typically are feminine Words that end in –ión, -dad are typically fem. Words that end in –ma,-pa, -ta usually masc.

4 -AR verbs You need to know ALL –AR verbs on p. 76 The placement of the conjugation endings matters. When conjugation occurs, you must make sure you have the endings in order: -o-amos -as-áis -a-an
