Nombres de muchachos Boys’ names frequently end in –o. Boys’ names can end in –l or –n. Often, boys in a family can all be named for “Jose”, the stepfather to “Jesus”, as a sign of religious respect. Therefore, nicknames may reflect middle names, personal traits or abbreviations.
