Just like with gustar, we can use querer with infinitive verbs too! Ejemplos: ¡Yo quier___ comer Taco Bell! ¿Quier____ (tú) jugar básquetbol conmigo? Ella quier____ leer los libros. Nosotros quer______ ir al cine contigo.
To ask what a friend wants to do: To answer: ¿Qué quieres hacer hoy? What do you want to do today? Ni idea. I have no idea. ¿Quieres ir al cine conmigo? Do you want to go to the movies with me? Está bien. All right. No, gracias. No quiero ir al cine hoy. No, thanks. I don’t want to go to the movies today.
