En inglés… Es muy fácil! There are a few ways! 1) the hour, then the minutes 1:30 - “One thirty” / 3:15 – “Three fifteen” 2) How FAR it is PAST the hour 1:30 “Half past” 1, 3:15 “quarter after 3” 3) How NEAR it is to the NEXT hour 3:45 “fifteen til (four)”

The “new” other way Due to global influence, some people DO NOT subtract minutes from the up-coming hour… Aka they just state the minutes, no matter HOW large 3:45 “Son las tres y cuarenta y cinco” / 3:50 “Son las 3 y 50” You can use both… But the more traditional way is to “subtract” after :30 BUT… this is NOT the only exception
And ONE…It’s a bit tricky!
