These -ar verbs have irregularities in the preterite formation dar – to give estar – to be (location, temporary condition)

dar – to give di diste dio dimos disteis dieron * Translation – “gave” * There are no accents.

estar – to be estuve estuviste estuvo estuvimos estuvisteis estuvieron * Translation – “was / were”

Ahora, vamos a practicarlos!
