Oh, ¡cuán dichosos y benditos son aquellos y aquellas que practican estas cosas y perseveran en ellas! Porque se posará sobre ellos el Espíritu del Señor y hará de ellos habitación y morada, y son hijos del Padre celestial, cuyas obras realizan, y son esposos, hermanos y madres de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

Why do they call these gatherings “chapters”? ¿Por que se llaman esas reuniones “capítulos”?
We as Franciscans have conferred a particular connotation to the term chapter and that is “fraternity”. La familia Franciscana ha dado al término capítulo una conotación especial que es “fraternidad.”
For Saint Francis the Chapters were of extreme importance in the life of his friars. Para S. Francisco los capítulos tenían una gran importancia
Clare writes: “The Chapter is important to consult with all the sisters...” Clara escribe: “El capítulo es importante para hablar con las hermanas.”
The Chapter is also a feast... to celebrate. El capítulo constituye también una fiesta.
