1. SABER = to know a fact, to know data Sabemos que Rodolfo y Luisa son estudiantes. ¿Sabes los días de la semana? Yo sé el número de teléfono de de Consuelo.

Yo sé esquiar. ¿Sabes cocinar? Los niños no saben nadar. 2. SABER + infinitive* = to know how to do something * Conocer is never followed by an infinitive.

3. SABER is often followed by a question word.* Sabemos quién es David Beckham. ¿Sabes dónde está la oficina de correos? No sé cuándo sale el tren para Miami. * Conocer is never followed by a question word.

4. SABER is also used when we know something from memory (de memoria) Abuela Marta sabe el Himno Nacional Mexicano. ¡Mexicanos, al grito de guerra... !
