When conocer is followed by a person, you must use the personal a before the name of the person. Ej. Yo conozco a tus padres. Mis estudiantes conocen al señor Evans. You do not use the personal a when you are familiar with a place. Ej. Conozco Cedar Park. 65

Nota Cultural La llama es un animal de la familia de los camellos, apreciado desde tiempos pre-hispánicos por su lana, su carne y su uso como animal de carga. Si la llama es atacada reacciona escupiendo (spitting), pateando (kicking), o negándose (refusing) a mover. Así puede defender las fincas de otros animales.
