Colocación y origen Hay dos verbo que expresa“to be” ser y estar. No son intercambiables. Se usa el verbo estar para colocación permenente y temporaría. PermanentTemporary Buenos Aires está en Argentina.Mis primos uruguayos no están en casa ahora. Martínez está en los suburbios de Buenos Aires. Están aquí en Martínez. Nuestra casa está en Martínez.Están aquí en Martínez.

Colocación y origen 2. Usamos el verbo ser para expresar el origen de algo or alguien. Ex. Yo soy de los Estados Unidos. Pero mi abuelo es de Uruguay. El pescado es de Chile y el bife es de Argentina.

Colocación y origen 3. El siguiente ejemplo usa colocación y origen en la misma oración. Ex. El señor Salas es de Paraguay pero ahora está en Chile.

Ejemplos con estar 1. ¿Dónde estás ahora? 2. ¿Dónde está tu casa? 3. Y tu escuela ¿dónde está? 4. ¿Dónde están tus padres? 5. Y tus amigos, ¿dónde están? 6. ¿Dónde está tu profesor(a) de español?

Ejemplos con ser 1. ¿Son argentinos los Martini? 2. ¿Son paraguayos los amigos de Felipe? 3. ¿Es chileno este pescado? 4. ¿Es uruguayo el pinto Iturria? 5. ¿Es chilena la autora Isabel Allende?

Característica y condición 1. El verbo estar expresa un estado o una condición temporaria. Ex. El agua está muy fría. Y el té está muy caliente. No sé por qué estoy tan cansado.

Característica y condición El verbo ser entonces expresa un calidad o característica permanente. Ex. El hermano de Juan es muy simpático. Y él es guapo. Y además es muy sincero.

Ejemplos 1. ¿Eres alto o bajo? 2. ¿Eres fuerte o débil? 3. ¿De qué nacionalidad eres? 4. ¿Eres simpático o antipático? 5. ¿Cómo estás hoy? 6. ¿Estás de buen humor o estás de mal humor? 7. ¿Estás bien o estás emfermo? 8.¿Estás contento o triste? 9.¿Estás cansado?

Usos especiales Necesitas escoger el verbo dependiendo en la signífica que quieras expresar. El tiempo en la Patagonia es muy borrascoso. Hoy el tiempo aquí está muy borrascoso.

Usos especiales ¿Cual es la diferencía entre los parejas? 1. Carlos es guapo. Carlos está guapo hoy. 2. La sopa es buena. La sopa está buena.
