Verbos irregulars en la forma yo

Some verbs are irregular in the present tense only in the first person (yo form). The following verbs are called go verbs because the yo form ends in go: hacer  to make;do poner  to put traer  to bring salir  to leave

SABER means to know a fact or a piece of information or how to do something. Examples: Yo sé su nombre. I know his name. Sara sabe cocinar. Sara knows how to cook.

CONOCER means to know or be familiar with a person, place or thing. Examples: No conozco a tu hermano. I don’t know your brother. Ella conoce la ciudad de Madrid She knows Madrid. ¡OJO! When the direct object of conocer is a person or pet, the personal a is used. ¿Conoces a mi amiga Juana? Write another example!
