Use a POSSESSIVE ADJECTIVE An adjective is a word that describes a noun. A possessive adjective is an adjective that describes a relationship between people and things. Use the word “de” In English we use an apostrophe to denote ownership, in Spanish we cannot. To express ‘s in Spanish we must use the word de.
