Every verb has 2 parts: STEM + ENDING Hablar = habl- Practicar = practi- Estudiar = estudi- Trabajar = trabaj- Cocinar = cocin- Mirar = mir- Escuchar = escuch- Jugar = jug- Presentar = present- Comprar = compr- + AR

To form the present tense: STEM + Verb ending -o -as -a -amos -áis -an

hablar Por ejemplo…: habl ar habl amos áis an habl o as a

estudiar Por ejemplo…: estudi ar estudi o as a estudi amos áis an

Pero, ¿qué es el presente?

(yo) Hablo español. I speak Spanish. I do speak Spanish. Present-tense verbs in Spanish can have several English equivalents.
