Primeras personas irregulares Como “tener” y “venir” muchos verbos tienen un “yo” irregular. El resto de la conjugación es regular. Tengo, tienes, tiene, tenemos, tienen. Vengo, vienes, viene, venimos, vienen.

Todos estos verbos son regulares con exepción de la conjugación “yo”. Saber and Conocer In Spanish, there are two ways to say “to know”: “Saber” and “Conocer”. Each verb expresses a different type of knowledge.

Saber Saber means: to know information and facts. to know a language, to know how to do something (usually followed by a verb in the infinitive) to know something by heart.

Examples ¿Ustedes saben mi dirección? No, pero sabemos tu número de teléfono. Do you guys know my address? No, but we know your phone number? ¿Sabes hablar español? -Sí, sé un poco: taco, burrito, salida, piso mojado. Do you know how to speak Spanish Yes, I know a little: taco, burrito, exit, wet floor.

Conocer Conocer means To know a person To be familiar with a place (e.g. city) To be familiar with a piece of art or an artist´s work.

Examples ¿Conoces a mi hermana? Sí, ella trabaja en el mismo supermercado que mi mamá. Do you know my sister? Yes, she works in the same supermarket as my mom. Yo conozco esa canción que tocas. Es de Bryan Adams. I know that song you´re playing. It´s by Bryan Adams.
