Mesero/a:-Hola (hello) / ¡Buenas noches (good evening)! ¿Tienen reservación)? (Do you have a reservation?) Cliente 1:-Hola / ¡Buenas noches! Si, a nombre del señor García (Yes, I have a table reserved in the name of García).

Mesero/a: -Si, aquí están: mesa para tres, a las ocho de la noche Mesero/a: -Si, aquí están: mesa para tres, a las ocho de la noche. Por aquí por favor. (Here you are. A table reserved for 3 at 8:00 o’clock. Follow me please)   Cliente1, 2 y 3: -¡Gracias! (thank you) Mesero/a: -Aquí tienen el menú.¿Qué quieren tomar? (here is the menu. What would you like to drink)

Cliente 1: yo quiero una coca cola, por favor ( I want a coca-cola, please).   Cliente 2: yo quiero una limonada, por favor. (I want a lemonade, please) Cliente 3: Y yo quiero un té helado, por favor. ( and I want an ice tea, please) . Mesero/a: Y de entrada? (Do you want an appetizer?)

Cliente 2: – Me gustaría papas con queso ( I would like to have potatoes with sauce).   Cliente 3: Me gustaría palitos de queso (and I would like to have cheese sticks) . Mesero/a: -¿Y el plato principal?(and the main course?)

Cliente 1: – Me gustaría arroz con pollo y verduras ( I would like to have chicken rice and vegetables).   Cliente 2: Yo quiero espagueti con salsa Alfredo ( I want spaguetti with Alfredo sauce) )

Cliente 3: Y para mí pescado frito con tostones Cliente 3: Y para mí pescado frito con tostones. (I want fried fish with fried plantain)    Mesero/a: -¿Desean postre? (would you like to have some dessert)   Cliente 1: -Sí, para mí sopapillas y helado de vainilla, por favor (yes, I would like to have sopapillas and vanilla ice cream)

Cliente 2: – Para mí arroz con leche, por favor (I would like to have milk rice, please)   Cliente 3: – Y para mí flan, por favor (and to me flan, please). Mesero/a: – ¿Algo más? ¿Café?  ¿té? (something else? coffee, tea) Cliente 2: -Nada más (that’s it).

Mesero/a: – ¿les gustó? (was everything ok?)   Cliente 1: Todo estuvo bueno. (everything was good) Cliente 2: – Delicioso. ¿la cuenta por favor? (it was delicious. Can you bring me the bill, please?) Mesero/a: – ¿ al contado o con tarjeta? (cash or credit card)

Cliente 1: – Al contado. (cash)   Mesero/a: – Son 65.50 pesos (it is …) Cliente 1: – Aquí tiene. Muchas gracias. (Here it is. Thank you ) Mesero/a: – Gracias. ¡Hasta luego! (thank you. See you soon)

Cliente 1: – Hasta luego. (see you soon)   Cliente 2: -Adiós. (good bye)

1. Now the scrip is written, what’s next: you have to practice the skit!. Practice makes perfect. Don’t wait until the day of the performance. 2. Think of what you need for your performance, like menus and copy of the skit with which to rehearse. 3. One note for the audience: encourage each other; no negative criticism.
