Reflexive verbs Reflexive verbs describe when the person doing the action, receives the action. In English, reflexive pronouns end in –self or – selves. If I wake up my daughter, I use a direct object: – La despierto a Liz. If I wake up myself, I use a reflexive pronoun: – Me despierto.
