ser + adjectives These are the forms of the verb ser. As in English, each form means something different. You must use the correct form in order for the sentence to make sense. ser = to be Soy= I amSomos= We are Eres= you areX Es= He, she, it is,Son= They are, you are (formal) you all are

masculine/feminine adjectives In Spanish, there are masculine adjectives and feminine adjectives. Most of the time, but not all the time, when an adjective ends with an –o, it will be masculine. When an adjective ends with an –a, it will be feminine. Ex. – Guapo: good-looking, masculine – Guapa: good-looking, feminine
