- Jugar a “What’s in the box?” -Escuchar e interpretar la canción Fruit (CD pista 46). - Escuchar el cuento “Patch’s fruit shop” (CD pista 48).

“Demonstrate Worksheet” Demostración de cómo se hace la ficha. Se explica en inglés y se hace para que vean qué es lo que hay que hacer.

“ Time for tables routine ” ( CD pista 8) “Colour the apple red, the pear green and the banana yellow”. Los alumnos y alumnas deben colorear la fruta siguiendo tu ejemplo.

Worksheet focus: listen to the Fruit song and point to the apples, bananas and pears” (CD pista 46). Los niños y niñas señalan las frutas en sus fichas mientras escuchan y cantan la canción. “Tidy up! Chant (CD pista 30). Para animar a recoger los colores.

Listen and sing the bye-bye song. (CD Pista 4). A esta edad se pone mucho más énfasis en la producción activa del lenguaje. Se espera que no sólo entiendan y respondan con lenguaje no verbal sino que también empiecen a participar verbalmente.

Se introducen las “chit chat routines”. Cada unidad introduce una nueva expresión para repetir en cada sesión. Ej.: “How are you? I’m fine, thank you. Se comienza con los niños y niñas más seguros. Participan un nº determinado cada día hasta que lo hagan todos y todas.

Play the shopping bag game. - (María) find the (cheese) please. - Is this the (cheese)? Yes or No. Se usan los “press out” del final de las unidades para las “actuaciones” en clase y en la casa.
