Fundación Comunidad Valenciana – Región Europea FCVRE Fundación Comunidad Valenciana – Región Europea Conclusions: New regional strategic thinking. Many regions will decrease their share in structural funds, so the choice is innovation, research and competitiveness. Current schemes of interregional co-operation may foster efficient policies to promote renewable energies and sustainable development. Participation of the civil society through Public-Private Partnerships is a key issue to ensure the success of RES policies.
