Under CIRAD- CNPq co-leadership, Taking the validated findings to the sub-regional level: Meso-america, Andean and Mercosur, –Basic input is the v3 bi-regional analysis from the T4.1 In each of the 3 subregions an Electronic Discussion Forum between sub-regional TT specialists together with European TT experts, –Profile and possible candidates for the moderator consultant –Candidates TT specialists sollicited from the member countries –Developing specific guidelines for the Forum procedures

Task 4.2 – Sub regional dialogues contd Introducing, besides the subregional specificities, also priority S&T themes for that region, –Member countries in sub regions start to specify their interest on the 5 preselected themes These activities are complemented by 3 sub-regional workshops (in collaboration with other WPs (+ freeriding), –Identification of WHO is interested on WHAT –Programmation of dates and partners –Formulation of specific guidelines for 2-day events (product from SSA Alcuefood)

Task 4.3 – EU-LAC innovation projects…. Under MinCyT and ADI co-leadership, Integrating sub-regional S&T thematic priorities and sub-regional TT recommendations, (sub)regional match-making events are organized around established key S&T themes, with LAC-EU science and industry partners, incorporating lessons learnt and best TT practices, Concrete S&T project profiles are developed, based on science-idustry partnerships (favoring SMEs) targeting FP7 instruments,
