En español, most adjectives have either two or four forms When using adjectives in Spanish, one must always consider PLACEMENT and AGREEMENT.

4 Los Adjetivos A Spanish adjective will change its ending to match the gender and number of the noun it describes. If the noun is singular, then the adjective will be singular If the noun is plural then the adjective will be plural. 5 Male & Female All Spanish nouns (things) are either male or female.

6 ADJECTIVE AGREEMENT: If an adjective ends in O, it will usually have four forms and the form that you use in any given sentence must agree with the noun that it modifies. simpático (m/s) simpática (f/s) simpáticos (m/p) simpáticas (f/p)

7 ADJECTIVE AGREEMENT: If an adjective ends in DOR or DORA must agree in number and gender with the noun that it modifies. trabajador (m/s) trabajadora (f/s) trabajadores (m/p) trabajadoras(f/p)

8 ADJECTIVE AGREEMENT: If an adjective ends in something other than these two, then it will usually have only two forms – singular and plural. inteligente (s) inteligentes (p)

10 Exceptions to the rule…:
The adjectives good (bueno) and bad (malo) are descriptive adjectives but are generally placed in front of the nouns they modify. Also adjectives that reflect an inherent quality of the noun (cold ice) are also placed in front of the noun.
