15 SUBJUNTIVO CON AUNQUE, QUIZÁS, TAL VEZ Y OJALÁ The conjunction aunque (although) may be followed by the subjunctive or the indicative depending upon the meaning of the sentence. Ellas nadarán aunque haga mucho frío. They will swim although it may be cold. Ellas nadarán aunque hace mucho frío. They will swim although it is cold.

16 SUBJUNTIVO CON AUNQUE, QUIZÁS, TAL VEZ Y OJALÁ The adverbs quizá(s), perhaps, and ojalá (I wish, would that), are always followed by the subjunctive. Note that ojalá can be followed by the present or the imperfect subjunctive. Quizás juegen hoy. (Perhaps they will play today.) Ojalá (que) ganen el partido. (I wish that they would win the game.)
